Customized Rates

Our cost-effective program gives you a rate based on the percentage of your business's overall energy usage.

Flexible Options

Your business can commit to as low as 5 years or up to 20 years, depending on your sustainability goals. Enroll in 5% increments up to 100% of your annual energy usage.

Turnkey Approach

Wind turbines and solar arrays won't be constructed on your property, so your business's infrastructure won't be affected. And no upfront payments or capital investment are required.

MIGreenPower is part of DTE's CleanVision for Michigan. The work we do now to create a carbon neutral future will benefit our businesses, families and generations to come.

MIGreenPower subscribers have enrolled 4 million megawatt hours of clean energy in the program, which is equivalent to taking more than 630,000 gasoline-powered passenger cars off the road for one year.

All wind farms and solar parks are located here in Michigan — providing hundreds of jobs for Michiganders and contributing to local economies.

Since 2009, DTE has driven investment of $3 billion in renewable energy infrastructure and we are investing more than $11 billion into the clean energy transition over the next 10 years.

Our plan is to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Explore our Energy Efficiency Business section for offers, rebates, specialty programs and tips for reducing your overall energy consumption. DTE Marketplace also provides incentives and rebates on energy-saving products.

In 2019, DTE launched Charging Forward, a program designed to raise awareness of the benefits of owning/driving an electric vehicle. We offer significant rebates to customers who install EV charging stations.

MIGreenPower Impact

DTE’s wind and solar parks have helped us cut carbon emissions by 32% since 2005. High and growing demand for MIGreenPower is helping us add even more Michigan-made renewable energy to the grid, with more than 100,000 residential electric customers enrolled and about 500 more enrolling each week.

This program growth contributes to our commitment to increase renewable energy in our fuel mix from 15% in 2023 to 32% by 2029. That includes adding 1,000 megawatts of new, Michigan-made wind and solar energy each year starting in 2026 and more than 15,000 megawatts by 2042 — enough clean energy to power approximately four million homes.

Our wind and solar parks also help us fulfill MIGreenPower commitments from some of Michigan's most well-known organizations, including Ford Motor Company, General Motors, the University of Michigan, the State of Michigan and the Detroit Zoo.

More About Our Programs

Our program flexes with your business's month-to-month energy usage without a fixed purchase requirement.

DTE's wind and solar resources supplying our facilities are located across Michigan to maximize electric generation. Your properties/facilities will not require any construction or modifications.

We build to suit the generation demands of our customers. Join our program now to reserve your renewable energy generation.

Once resources are brought online to support your commitment, the program will be billed on your monthly electric bill. There are no upfront or overhead costs.

We can help reduce your company's Scope 3 carbon emissions by engaging your employees to enroll their DTE electric accounts into our MIGreenPower program.
